As the Alabama Legislature moves slowly, we are seeing some improvement on drug crimes.
SB 7 proposes that the minimum amount of cannabis a person must sell, manufacture, deliver or knowingly be in actual or constructive possession, be convicted of trafficking from 1 kilogram (2.2 pounds) to 4.5 kilograms or (10 pounds).
